NAGASAKI IS CALLING NOMADS

Live Where Histories Cross
Many visitors come to Japan expecting "difference" — in culture, language, and rhythm. But in Nagasaki, they find something else: echoes of shared pasts. From Portuguese ships to British missionaries, from Dutch merchants to Vietnamese exchanges — the threads of their home countries have already touched this land.
Through this program, we invite participants to connect the dots — to see Nagasaki not just as a new place, but as a place where history, identity, and future possibilities intertwine.
Digital Nomad Nagasaki
As the centerpiece of this initiative, Nagasaki will host a month-long monitor tour called "DIGITAL NOMAD NAGASAKI" from October 13 to November 14, 2025.
Limited Availability
ONLY 10 SLOTS ARE AVAILABLE for global creators, digital nomads, and remote workers, offering free accommodations and coworking space — we kindly ask all attendees to contribute to the local community to receive these benefits.
Our Vision
NAGASAKI IS CALLING nomads who are eager to share authentic stories and experiences with the world. Participants are invited to "live as locals" and work while exploring four distinctive regions.
Your Journey Through Nagasaki
Town | Nagasaki City (October 13 – November 14)
Our participants' stay is based in Nagasaki City, where they embark on several excursions during their stay. The city is shaped by centuries of cultural exchange and trade. Participants will reside in the same monthly apartments (personal rooms with self-cook kitchens, shower rooms, and own laundry machines with high-speed Wi-Fi), work at local coworking hubs, and engage deeply with the community.
Ocean | Goto Islands (October 15 – 21)
A tranquil retreat where faith, sea, and silence meet. Discover hidden churches, stroll along white-sand beaches, savor handmade udon, and enjoy fresh seasonal cuisine.
Culture | Northern Nagasaki : Short Trip
Optional trips to the other towns, and rural areas. Activities include community events, historical sites, and immersive agricultural experiences.
Volcanic Scenery | Unzen City (November 10 – 14)
A breathtaking volcanic landscape with onsen culture and lush ecology. Enjoy geothermal farms, misty mountain hikes, and the serene energy of hot spring towns.
Beyond the Journey
Beyond these immersive experiences, participants will join exclusive programs such as guided city immersions, community co-creation workshops, and themed meetups with local entrepreneurs and creators.
